Germination Method:

We use and recommend the following method for germinating our seeds. If you happen to run into any issues just contact us for more help!

It's best to work with clean material and in sterile conditions. You should always wash your hands before handling seeds, or use gloves and tweezers if you prefer.

  1. Put up to 50 seeds in 1 cup of water (distilled water or reverse osmosis filtered is preferred) in a safe location and container that won't spill or become contaminated. Let the seeds soak in dark place, and try and maintain a temperature around 78F.

  2. A taproot should sprout within 24 to 72 hours. This is the first sign of root growth and a successful germination.

  3. Make sure you have your grow medium (soil, hydro, rockwool, etc.) ready to be used before you begin planting your seeds.

  4. IN SOIL: Once the taproot is 1/4 to 1/2 inch long, make a little dimple in your soil about an inch deep. Take out your seed with clean hands or sterilized tools and plant it with the taproot pointing downward into your soil. Carefully sprinkle some loose soil over it and keep the soil slightly moist
IN HYDRO: Wait for the taproot to stretch to 1 inch or longer, then plant your seed in your hydro bucket/tray collar, allowing the root to be held gently but firmly in place, while ensuring the sprouted top is able to reach towards the light/sun.
IN ROCKWOOL CUBES: Once the taproot is 1/4 to 1/2 inch long, insert the taproot into the indentation in the top of the cube, or use a small tool to make one if necessary. Ensure the taproot is making contact with the rockwool and keep the cube moist until the roots have had time to stretch through the cube.

  5. You should see a little sprout pop up within a couple of days (2 - 7 days or so).

Nutrient Mixing:

We recommend Heavy 16 for the nutrients for most home and commercial cultivations. They have a wonderful nutrient calculator on their site already that gives you every measurement for the best results on any scale. Plant Based Gummy Recipe:

Ingredients:

1 cup smoothie/juice

1/2 cup tapioca syrup

1.75 oz less sugar pectin

3 oz liquid pectin

1/32 tsp vit C powder (ascorbic acid)

20mL veg glycerin

Decarboxylated Cannabis extract

If your extract isn't already, decarboxylate the extract at 252°F for 27 minutes. When you have 10 minutes remaining on the timer, begin the mixing steps.

  • Mix smoothie/juice and tapioca syrup in medium saucepan and bring to just simmering.
  • Turn off heat and add vit c and both pectins, liquid first.
  • Once fully mixed, add glycerin and then the extract.
  • Mix thoroughly and then immediately pour into molds using tape knife to ensure evenly filled.

Batch makes roughly 200 × 1"sq gummies. When using extracts, it is ideal to know the exact content of your specific extract batch-by-batch, as each extract is unique. Make sure to consider the cannabinoid content of your extract when calculating dosage. 200 × 5 mg gummies requires 1000mg of cannabinoids. If your oil has 75% cannabinoid content, you will need 1333.33mg of extract.
